4 What evidence exists of the internal and external demands for the program?

The CITE program has experienced near-full enrollments for the past several years. Most graduates are finding professional jobs within the first few months of graduation, with some receiving job offers prior to graduation. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects “faster than average” job growth for technology related careers through 2026.

Cyber Seek heat map displays current Cybersecurity job openings by state. As of this writing there were 3,367 job openings in the State of Idaho.

The Occupational Outlook Handbook from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.gov site stated between 2022 and 2032 they expect this sector to grow faster than average. “About 377,500 openings are projected each year, on average”.
