24 Curriculum Analysis

Describe the process which is used to regularly review curriculum and course content.

Most courses in the CITE and Cybersecurity programs are delivered under the guidance of industry partnerships. The programs maintains industry-educational partnerships with Cisco, CompTIA, Microsoft, & VMware. The CITE/Cybersecurity Advisory Committee meets at minimum twice yearly to review curriculum and provide guidance to the program faculty for program relevancy.  Faculty participate in extensive technology training to remain current. In addition, the program goes through program review every 5 years.

What evidence is there that the curriculum is current in content and design to help students achieve the program outcomes they need to be successful at completion?

Our industry partners (CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, SUSE, Linux, Kaplan, Pearson-Vue, and others) continually adjust their course content to maximize effectiveness in preparing students for technology based careers.
