37 Formal articulation agreements with other postsecondary institutions
We don’t have a specific formal articulation agreement for only our program but there is a general SBOE agreement with LCSC for an Applied Science in Business (BAS). It allows students in any CTE program to turn their AAS into a four-year degree and be in a great position to manage a business or advance their careers. Here is the information:
The applied science BAS is designed for individuals who have completed an associate of applied science (AAS) degree from a regionally accredited institution. The BAS degree area allows individuals additional education to strengthen or advance their current training to provide opportunities for career advancement.
As part of the BAS curriculum, students work in conjunction with their advisor to develop a degree plan tailored to their academic and professional goals. Degree plans may include singular or multiple interdisciplinary upper-division coursework in any academic content area.
The BAS in business program is available to students who have completed an AAS in a technical or business-related field. Students will be required to complete some additional general education courses, core business classes, and upper-division electives for this 120-credit program. Completion of this degree will prepare students to manage or open their own businesses.
AAS Minimum 50 credits in specialized content area, of which 15-18 credits are General Education.
