22 Are there special admissions requirements for this program? If yes, how are these special admissions requirements (whether placement testing or prerequisites) related to student success in the program?

There is an expected minimum level of technology proficiency for students entering CAOT programs, including the AOMT program. To support this, a Digital Literacy Assessment was developed and approved by Advising, Vice President of Instruction, and Division Chair, in 2020 for implementation by the CTPP CTE Advisor. This assessment was designed to ensure students complete it before their enrollment appointments, helping to confirm their readiness for the program’s technological requirements. However, it was recently discovered that the assessment was not being administered. The division chair has since prioritized this initiative and the CTE Advisor will implement the Digital Literacy Assessment as intended.
