Technology careers require written and verbal communication, reasoning, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to changing situations and surroundings. The GEM courses required in the AOMT program help to support these skills.

GEM courses are assessed by their respective departments. GEM courses are not assessed by Career technical Education (CTE).
