I, as a NIC Pressbook user acknowledge that I have been granted access to a Pressbooks account by North Idaho College. I understand that this account is to be used for adopting (cloning a Pressbook), adapting, creating, or publishing Open Education Resources licensed with a Creative Commons license unless given specific, written agreement for other use by the NIC Pressbooks Administrator. - Consent to Use of Information:
I consent to the collection, storage, and processing of the information I provide while using the Pressbooks account. This includes but is not limited to text, images, files, and any other content I upload or create within the platform. - Responsibility:
I understand that I am solely responsible for the content I upload, create, or publish using this Pressbooks account. I will ensure that all content complies with copyright laws, does not infringe on any intellectual property rights, and is appropriate for the intended purpose. Before using this Pressbook within my college courses, I will ensure it has been peer reviewed and edited for professional use. - Data Security:
I acknowledge that North Idaho College will take reasonable measures to ensure the security of the data stored on the Pressbooks platform. However, I understand that no system is completely immune to security risks, and North Idaho College cannot guarantee absolute security of the data. - Account Usage:
