Discuss enrollment trends:
Since the last History Program Review enrollment trends have changed considerably. At the time of the last review, student demand for more online courses and fewer face to face courses resulted in a shift toward more online offerings. Demand for face-to-face courses continues to diminish, while demand for online courses has not shown a corresponding increase. There is increased demand for dual credit courses being offered by high school faculty who meet the minimum requirements to teach college courses. Though this is a campus-wide reality, the History Program has been especially impacted by these trends. To address this shift in demand to dual credit courses, senior administration is committed to expanding Dual Credit History offerings in the area high schools.
