38 Review Team: What are the program’s strengths?

The review team has identified the following Strengths:

• The Math Education Center (MEC) provides excellent support for student success and fosters a sense of community among students and faculty.
  • o Faculty participate in the MEC during office hours.
• Classroom technology remains ahead of most other institutions in Idaho and is well used by faculty.
• Faculty continue to explore OER usage to the advantage of students and are willing to put in the effort to development OER courses.
• Math department has great communication with registration, advising, and transferring.
• Commendable efforts in online offerings to working and place bound students and communities.
