Do you use a common textbook throughout a commonly numbered course?

For the most part, yes.  In an effort to provide students with open educational resources options, some sections have been experimenting with low and no cost open educational resources (OER).  MATH-025 is using OER materials in three out of five sections.  All other math sections are using the same text in all sections.  MATH-015, MATH-123, MATH-153, and MATH 170 are currently using OER materials.

Please describe the process you use to select textbooks.

Textbook selection is generally conducted through the course Professional Learning Community (PLC).  The PLC explores available textbooks including open resources and determines which best meet the content requirements and student needs.
