5 What evidence demonstrates that the program is meeting the transfer and/or career needs of students? Be specific.

Available data from Academic years 2019/20 to 2023/24 (years allowing time to complete a program) shows that 70% of students who completed Psychology as their focus area at NIC continued on to a four-year institution. Of those students who continued, 80% completed their Bachelor’s degree between 2019-2022 and 3 students completed their Master’s degree.  Data on meeting career needs is limited since this is a transfer program and North Idaho College does not have a system in place to track whether or not our students in specific programs enter careers after graduating from a 4-year institution.
