15 Describe how the current delivery mode of the program effectively meets students’ needs. How are the delivery decisions made?

The psychology program continues to offer a balance of online, face to face, and IVC instructional formats to meet students’ scheduling, delivery, and learning style needs. Delivery decisions are made in several ways, including analyzing semester enrollment patterns, long-term trends, and addressing requests for dual credit, IVC, accelerated, and on-campus delivery options.  The SBS Division Chair coordinates final schedules with input from psychology faculty.   On-campus course enrollments have seen disproportional decline since COVID, therefore the program has adjusted with increased online offerings. We have also modified course delivery to include dual credit and multiple accelerated format options, such as 12-week and 8-week short term and late start sections. Using this flexibility to adapt to students’ shift in preferences has helped enrollments stabilize and recover during this five-year cycle.
