12 Classroom Technology and Zoom Classrooms

Classroom Technology

Information Technology recently completed a two year project, utilizing approximately $700,000 in Federal stimulus funding, to standardize the equipment used in all technology-enhanced classrooms. This ensures a consistent user experience for all students and instructors, as well as a more trouble-free learning environment. Every standard classroom includes a projector and screen, an internet-connected PC, a DVD/VCR player, a sound system and a control panel which provides push-button control of all of these components (Extron Control System pdf).

Common Naming Protocol

To help IT to identify a new set of rooms for Zoom upgrades, we are asking faculty to use a common naming system while instructing via Zoom.

Common Naming Protocol:     Semester-Course Prefix-Course Number-Section Number
Example:  SP22-EDUC-201-101
