Faculty, Welcome to the 2023-24 academic year! We hope this handbook, published by the Office of Instruction, will be a guide to you as you navigate teaching and learning at North Idaho College. It contains valuable information for new faculty getting oriented to NIC and will continue to be a resource for returning faculty as we navigate change in the dynamic landscape of higher education. There are several ways to navigate this Pressbook.

•  Clicking “Read Book” from the initial landing page will start you on this introduction page. From here, you can scroll through the chapters using the page forward and back buttons located at the bottom right and left of each page.
• The initial landing page also includes a table of contents that can be found by scrolling down the page. Click the “+” to expand the menu.
• In the top right corner of any page, there is a search function. Type in the topic of interest to locate that section of the book.
• Throughout the book, the table of contents is also located on the left side of the screen. Click the arrow to open the table of contents and the “+” to expand the menu. From here you can navigate to your topic of choice.
